We’ve had some wonderful rainfall and there was about 7 litres in my buckets and watering can. That’s all gone into the water butts. The rain certainly made everything look nice, ready for my visitors to inspect the plot.

The carrots came out of the ground very nicely, no need for a hand fork. A number of the tomatoes had split after the rain, but with the size they are, you just halve them down the split and it’s no big deal.
