I went down to photograph the cucamelons as one is now approaching grape size and there are lots more coming.

One of the runner bean vines at the front has broken, possibly under the weight of some big beans that had been missed at the bottom. Around the plot flowers are blooming, gourds are growing and the sweetcorn are coming along with the tassels appearing and the cobs showing.

My paltry little sunflower has also managed to flower. I’ve not idea how other people get theirs to be so big and strong.

We’ve had some rain and a total of 6 litres of rainwater had been collected in the buckets.
