I put my butterfly lavenders in place, one near the shed and one near the apple tree. Mares tail and bindweed is all over the place, so I spent some time on the eternal job of digging that up where I could.

The other eternal job seems to be trying to make the final decision on the squash/tomato bed over near the boundary with Mr B. All this digging is exhausting and I’m barely doing any of it, as Mum is a digging champion, so I’ve revised the plan a little and will be leaving more to grass than originally planned.
