My plugs have arrived! I’ve never dealt with plugs before, but an offer on 72 plants from one of my seed catalogues seemed like a good way of helping to fill my flower beds. The plants turned up in a cardboard envelope, in little plastic strips and probably by about halfway through I’d worked out the best way to get them out easily and transplanted into seed trays.

The 72 includes 12 each of:

• Aquilegia
• Armenia Mixed
• Carnation
• Coreopsis
• Delphinium
• Echinacea
• Erigeron Stallone
• Foxglove
• Geum
• Lavender
• Scabiosa
• Verbena

Meanwhile the nasturtium and zinnia seedlings are doing quite well too.
