I did a good sit-down weeding session of the Becky bed and got a few big handfuls of weeds from the usual pulling up of weeds. Pulling them up invariably means a good number of them don’t come out of the ground, they just snap off, but I like to think it’s at least reminding them who’s (trying to be) boss. Deadheading was done too – the flower beds aren’t bad at all.

The cucumber plant is trying to grow a cucumber, despite the serious neglect on my part. The thistles in the beetroot bed are still growing, but will definitely be one of my next projects.
