Beetroot and radish have been sown in the veg bed by the shed. There’s room for a row of carrots in there too when the time comes. I’ve uncovered the second veg bed and rolled up the polythene, but not dug over the bed yet.

The main job was weeding under the plum tree, which I’ve done entirely. It looks really good as there are lots of things like lavender, pansy and gladioli growing in there. The clump of lemon balm at the back looks good and healthy, especially having been freed of the surrounding grass and nettles.

I checked with P&P across the way to see if they were the ones who rescued my loose polythene a few weeks ago, but no, it wasn’t them. So I’ve exhausted all my neighbour options now and still don’t know who it could have been!
