In preparation for tomorrow’s mowing, I edged all around the perimeter and cut down what I could of the really mad areas of grass.

I weeded almost all of the front bed and got lots of grass out of the lemon balm. I pulled up lots of couch grass roots coming from the car park. I disturbed a bunch of bulbs, which I tried to replace; the freesia seem to be waking up. 

I planted the deep pink everlasting pea vaguely in middle of the bed. The lemon balm in front of it now has a bit a whole in the middle, but with any luck it’ll fill in a bit.
