The tester apple was good, so today I picked a number more, some of which were quite big. A few had a little bit of damage.

I cut four festival squash and composted their plants. I’ve left a couple, plus the ornamentals and the last Turks Turban until next week. I almost have my full squash pile though 🙂 I also did the usual deadheading and some edging.

Twelve grape hyacinth bulbs have gone in around the elder tree. The ground obviously isn’t the best over there, so in terms of planting depth, they sometimes had to make do with what they were given. Meanwhile, Mum dug up all the docks that were left in the front bed after the pumpkins went last week.
