Continuing the weeding along the right hand side, I find a few husky bulb skins, which looks like the freesias are possibly no more. I also come across an unknown plant stub, which has new life coming, so we’ll have to wait and see what that turns into.

The weather is hot and sunny and behind me I hear a bird scuttling about and carefully turned to discover a blackbird bathing in the last remnant of puddle in the plastic on the big front bed.
