Another section weeded along the right-hand side – I’m on the finishing straight. This section involved separating a lot of buttercup from not a lot of ranunculus, which is a bit of a trick, seeing as they’re in the same family. There are lots of ranunculus plants at the garden centre at the moment, but they’re all annuals and I’m really trying to up my perennial population in the beds, so that I don’t have the same work to do each year. One thing is certain for the boundary beds though: the autumn weeding and mulching must be done!
