I visited the plot this evening to fetch things in preparation for tomorrow: pots for anything that might need potting on and the three bags of bits for the grow house. I also marked up one of the old bit of fence post to be cut to fill the gaps in the edging on Bed 9.

The apple blossom is now starting to open and the mint is beginning to show itself all over the plot too. Good luck getting rid of that twenty years down the line!

In the front bed, I found the first freesia coming up too, looking just like a gladiolus just to confuse things. A small white allium is not far from opening, as is one of last year’s calendulas, which has plenty of new buds coming on it!
