I’ve made a start on the weeding of the left-hand boundary. There was an amount of bindweed and some thistles and the cress. The hard work came right at the boundary though, with lots of couch grass to get up. There was also a big nettle to try and curtail. I’d already made a start on it a while ago with weedkiller.

Lots of the verbenas had seeded down at the front of the bed (why do tall things do that?), so I’ve dug them out and put them aside to be moved further back. Except I’d forgotten about them until now, a couple of days later, so who knows whether they’re still viable …

I went as far as where the mint starts up, so there’s about the last third to do, with it mostly just being a case of getting grass out of where I can.
