After the rain I went down to the plot to sprinkle some more slug pellets around and salt a few unfortunates who crossed my path while I was there. Some things seem to be doing ok now and there are the first signs of beetroot and spinach and carrots. The rain has brought up lots of weeds, but the odd seedling looks like it might be a flower. Only time will tell – or we’ll know when the slugs choose which to eat and which to leave.
