I noticed roots poking out of the bottom of the sweetcorn tray last night, so this morning I potted them on. Happily, they all had good root systems when I took them out of the tray.

The sunflowers were also pretty big in their pots and were often drying out too. Before moving them I took a photo in case they decided to take umbrage at the move.

Happily, everyone was content with their new pots, including the big bitter melon, which has three tendrils, just raring to grab on to something. A handful of other bitter melons are coming along behind this one, so I’m over the first hurdle of getting them to fruit.
