In the morning I weeded the last section of the right hand bed, around and behind the dead tree. I ended up with eyes full of jumping cress seeds. I planted the bear’s breeches and poppy, moving the little physostegia that has a couple of new shoots on it to a more convenient spot. All the perennials from the nursery are now in.

After lunch I sowed a 2nd row of radishes and weeded the onions. I also dug one short strip of what will be the sweetcorn bed as they’re growing fast in the pots at home. I edged three quarters of the front bed, which looks much better now. I cut my finger on the shears on the 3rd edge, which was some of the reason that the final edge didn’t get done.
