I went to the plot for some photography today. There’d been a few hours of rain last night and even with one bucket not out, I’d managed to collect about 5 litres of water.

Everything’s had good a watering, which is good as the tomatoes are growing and the beans are starting to form.

The mallow is open and looking pretty good for a weed. I’ve found a dahlia emerging that I’d forgotten I’d planted. It’s in the left bed, near the nasturtium that should feel free to cover the fence.

All the gourds are happy and the Turks Turbans are going to start coming along soon. I’ve got two or three kinds of gourds so far. There’s also one double, which I really hope will develop. That would be great to photograph!

And here comes the Fiesta maize 🙂
