I took advantage of a break in the rain to do dig over a couple of beds, one for calla loo and one for zinnias. Both turned over pretty easily and should only need one more dig along with sowing.

The apple tree is blossoming nicely. Lots of flowers, which probably means I need to pick a few off to stop it being biennial, but they’re so pretty!

The ginger mint in the front bed is waking up. I don’t know how tall it will get, or how it will fill in, but if it doesn’t perform well in both respects, its days are numbered. It’s so difficult to weed around.
