It’s not rained for a few days, so I headed to the plot to see how things were. There was no more standing water anywhere, but the ground in front of the shed door is a quagmire still.
I managed to hand weed the middle bed and yin yang bean bed in full. But because I wasn’t using the big fork, they’ve not been turned over much. That’ll just have to wait until spring. Now all that remains is the front bed and the tomato bed and they’ve really not got much to do weed-wise, it’s just the size of them.
There’s also a barrel-load of grass coming up in the left boundary, among the cut down verbenas. I like to think I might get some of that out before they grow too much in the spring.
