Unexpected rain saw of my plans to weed, but I still welcome rain for the plants. Instead of gardening, I went to Wyevale to get a new plants and some fabric to go underneath the compost bins to stop bindweed growing up through them. Clearly the fabric that Mr B had had underneath his compost heap had been there for a reason. The one thing I wish I hadn’t thrown away. While at the garden centre I also did my research on the compost, manure and soil improver that I plan to buy in large quantities for the end of the season. Turns out that those brollies that garden centres have available are very useful!
