The plot has had quite a good bit of rainfall this week. I picked some very long runner beans and a windfall apple. A couple of the plum tomatoes are about ready for picking – red and yellow – but I’ve left them to get a photo, along with another summer squash.
Two carnations are now out and smell lovely. The verbena plants are also doing really well and are very tall. One plum had kamikazied to the ground, while the other had been attacked by a wasp and was rotting on the branch. So not exactly a big harvest this year.
