All the manure I have in stock has been spread now and two bags of soil conditioner have gone on the flower beds from shed all the way round to Mr B’s gate. I planted more of the allium to right of plum tree, where the ground was soft enough for me to make any kind of hole.

Mum weeded the Festival bed and we covered it with manure and cover it with the plastic I’d got ready in the shed – that’s one done!
