I spread the morning glory seeds along the fence line a bit and pulled down some of the dead plants. I took down all the sweet peas and cut down all the remaining perennials and retied the apple tree support ready for winter. I tried out my new shears to cut a bit of grass and dug over the courgette bed and covered it black plastic. One more down!
The big lump of granite that we found in a sack of manure is now on top of the bug hotel in an effort to weight it down a little. There were already a couple of bugs inspecting their possible new abode.
