A shopping day – Maris Piper main crop potatoes for chitting and a bag of red onions to accompany the white ones I already had from Wyevale. I had a look at the lawn edging there – helpfully not priced – and decided what I wanted for the front bed. Then back home I went online and found the same little 6″ fence-like edging at a ridiculous £3 for lengths of nearly a metre. So I’ve ordered 8 of those to be delivered.
