A bit of tidying up: I mended the crack in window with tape that had actual adhesive qualities, so as to stop any liberties being taken by the wind. I’d forgotten what it’s like to lie in bed and listen to the wind and wonder if it’s damaging anything, rather than just not think anything of it.

My new galvanised staples had arrived and so I used them to pin down first sheet of black plastic and put the pots back by the shed and moved the short fence posts to storage. I have a nice neat little area behind the shed with my canes, pots, posts and compost bins. All together and out of sight.
