Along with a bunch of pots, I collected the Sweet William from the plot to finally try and thin it out. It was completely pot bound and stuck to the inside of the pot, but being bone dry helped in getting it out. I broke it into sections and have planted up 2 terracotta pots for the allotment, 1 for home and another is an experiment. The piece in the black pot is nice and big, but the stem got stripped. It’s still on a big root though, so I’ll just have to wait and see what it does.

5 delphinium plugs – and a mystery volunteer growing next to one of them.
