A sunny day at last. I climbed over the compost bins and into the gap between the shed and fence and cleared out piles of bindweed and other weeds. I didn’t want them – the bindweed in particular – getting carried away and pushing into the shed.

On the more productive side of the shed, I harvested more beans, beetroot and carrots to go with the 2 plums that were picked a few days ago.
