We had some rain yesterday and last night, so hoping for some slightly damp ground, I went to feed the big plants. The soil looked lovely and brown, but there was very little rain in my buckets. I fed the big veg and gave some to the sweet peas and nasturtiums.

There were some bean leaves on the ground. Something has eaten or cut the leaves of the yin yangs. The new French beans coming up also look a little damaged. I’ve put down some more slug pellets and will need to keep an eye on them. 

One of the dahlias is shooting nicely and the nigellas are going for gold. Those mystery leaves are still looking nice and healthy. What are they?!
